UJDA CHAMAN is the story of a man in search of a life partner. Chaman Kohli (Sunny Singh) is a 30-year-old lecturer in Delhi’s Hansraj College. He has faced acute hair loss in the last five years, affecting his self-esteem and also his marriage prospects. His parents, Shashi Kohli (Atul Kumar) and Sushma Kohli (Grusha Kapoor) put his five-year-old picture in his marriage bio-data and when he goes to see a prospective bride, he wears a cap. Sadly, the cap comes off and the prospective bride and her family kick the Kohli’s from their house. Their family astrologer (Saurabh Shukla) adds to their tension as he claims that if Chaman doesn’t get married before his 31st birthday, he’ll remain celibate for life. Chaman tries to find love, first at the marriage ceremony of a friend but it proves futile. Later, he tries to woo a fellow lecturer, Ekta (Aishwarya Sakhuja) but she rejects him as she is already dating someone. All of a sudden, a first-year student, Aaina Ali Khan (Karishma Sharma) shows interest in Chaman. Chaman falls for her but in no time, he realizes that she hung out with him for vested interests. With no other option, Chaman accepts his father’s suggestion and downloads Tinder. He uploads his picture, but by cropping his bald patch. In no time, he matches with Apsara (Maanvi Gagroo), who is overweight and just like Chaman, she too puts a close up picture to hide her so-called imperfection. Both decide to meet and obviously get shocked looking at each other. What happens next forms the rest of the film. UJDA CHAMAN is an official remake of the 2017 Kannada film, ONDU MOTTEYA KATHE (Writer: Raj B Shetty). Danish J Singh's adapted story has immense potential as a lot of people can relate to the goings on shown in the film. But Danish J Singh's screenplay plays spoilsport. The narrative is engaging but only in parts. Danish J Singh's dialogues are funny and matter-of-fact. Abhishek Pathak's direction is not worthy enough. The execution seems a bit amateurish and over-the-top. The manner in which Chaman is ridiculed almost on a daily basis by the students because of his receding hairline is too much. Moreover, the direction style is not consistent. The second half looks very different from the first half. Also, with nothing unique happening in the film, the narrative becomes extremely predictable. On the positive side, a few scenes work like the track of Aaina and the hospital scene. UJDA CHAMAN begins on a fun but very loud note with the initial portions being mildly engaging. The humour looks forced in the scene where Chaman attempts to assault his brother Goldy (Gagan Arora). The track of Aaina is thankfully better but still, the film doesn’t reach a high. The intermission point is interesting and the film seems promising from here on. And the initial portions of the second half are very entertaining as Chaman and Apsara get close. But after a point, nothing novel or interesting happens. The film gets dragging and predictable. The final scene is cute but comes too late in the film. The manner in which he seems so serious and lifeless throughout the film is difficult to digest. Even his narration in the beginning is needlessly done in a sombre tone. Maanvi Gagroo does quite better and is a natural. Her issues and predicaments seem very relatable and she plays the part nicely. Atul Kumar also does a genuinely good job. Grusha Kapoor is very loud. Gagan Arora is passable. Karishma Sharma plays her part as per the requirement. Aishwarya Sakhuja has a great screen presence. Sharib Hashmi (Raj) is good but sadly his track is predictable. Saurabh Shukla is strictly okay. Music is disappointing. Only 'Chand Nikla' gets registered. The rest of the songs like 'Twinkle Twinkle', 'Outfit' and 'Oh Bandeya' are forgettable. Hitesh Sonik's background score is too loud and dramatic. Sudhir K Chaudhary's cinematography is neat. Tarpan Srivastav's production design is in sync with the film’s setting. Preetisheel Singh's make up and prosthetics are flawless. Rahil Raja and Himanshi Nijhawan's costumes are realistic. Mitesh Soni's editing is sans complaint and the film’s length is appropriate at 120 minutes. On the whole, UJDA CHAMAN has a promising and relatable story but the inconsistent execution and predictable narrative spoils the show. Many celebrities took to Twitter to offer condolences to the film producer’s family. "Really sad to know about the sudden demise of Champak Jain ji. He was such a noble soul. Had such fond memories of him. My condolences to the entire Venus family, Rattan Jain ji, Ganesh Jain ji. RIP Champak ji," tweeted Bollywood actor Sonu Sood. Besides being the owner of Venus company, Champak Jain had also produced many films like 1994 blockbuster Main Khiladi Tu Anari, starring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, and Josh, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. 
Raju Mavani was suffering from kidney ailments for years before he was diagnosed with cancer. He was fighting the disease for three years before succumbing to the disease. The cremation will take place on Friday at 6 pm at Oshiwara in Mumbai. Raju Mavani had launched Suniel Shetty in 1992 in Balwaan. Apart from producing films for Sunny Deol, Saif Ali Khan, Raveena Tandon, he had also acted in films like Sarkar, Wanted, Shootout at Wadala among others.

The final schedule will begin in November end. The last schedule will have a lot of action-packed scenes including a car chase sequence featuring Akshay Kumar. The larger than life dance number will have the lead actors and it will be on similar lines like the title track of Golmaal Again in 2017 and Simmba in 2018. An elaborate set will be erected for the song with as many as 300 background dancers. In Sooryavanshi, Akshay Kumar is essaying the role of an ATS officer Veer Sooryavanshi. The film will be jointly produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez, Cape Of Good Films and Dharma Productions. The film is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Rohit Shetty. It is scheduled for March 2020 release.
The Ayan Mukerji fantasy film is currently under production. If the reports are to be believed, Shah Rukh Khan has already allotted the dates for the film to shoot his portion. His character will be a pivotal one to help Ranbir Kapoor’s character Shiva move forward in his journey. He will shoot by the end of the year. In April 2019, Ayan Mukerji had penned a heartwarming post for Shah Rukh Khan. Ayan was an assistant director for Swades and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. Calling SRK his inspiration, obsession, and idol, the filmmaker wrote, "Inspiration. Obsession. Idol. My single biggest love at the movies through my entire childhood and teenage years, leading up the highlight of my 2 assistant director experiences - Swades and KANK [Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna] - which was that I got to be in the presence of Shah Rukh Khan. And when I got very lucky, to be a stand in with him for blocking scenes (This photo is framed and put up in my house by my mother who considered it the height of my achievement obviously)." This won’t be the first time Ranbir Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan will share screen space. In 2016, SRK played Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s ex-husband in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and had a cameo in the film when he meets Ranbir’s character. Alia and SRK have already worked in Dear Zindagi as a mentor and mentee. She even had a cameo in Zero. Brahmastra pair will head to Manali in November for a 15-day schedule. The film is scheduled for the summer 2020 release.

Baaghi 3 would be the first Hindi film to be shot in Serbia. The point, we hear, is to shoot the kind of action scenes Tiger has never done before. For this purpose, the script needed rugged unexplored locations. Says Sajid, “We zeroed-in on Serbia for its freshness and virility, also because we are being provided with all support and co-operation by the country.” Apparently, it is a very big deal for the Serbian government to have such a big production house from Bollywood shooting in their country. All precautions have been taken to ensure Tiger’s security. Says Sajid, “He has a massive fan following in every country. Now after War he is a rage in every corner of the world.” The crew leaves on Wednesday for Serbia and hopes to complete major chunks of the shooting in record time. Says Sajid, “The best part of shooting abroad is there are no distractions. Like a good father accompanying his child to boarding school, I’m just going to settle the crew in Serbia and come back to Mumbai after four days.”

The new film is expected to go on floors in the UK in January and Arjun Mathur and Tannishtha Chatterjee have been signed as one of the two principal couples in the film. Arjun has been riding high the success of his web show Made In Heaven, directed by Zoya Akhtar and this will be the next feature film that he has signed since the series. A source close to the development informs, “The film is a dark comedy inside a house that involves two couples & a Pizza Delivery Boy. Arjun and Tannishtha have been roped in to play two of the central characters, the remaining two are yet to be locked. Being an actor himself, Anshuman has a distinct vision for the characters & understands the importance of solid actors to tell his story. And both Arjun and Tannishtha fit the parts to perfection. While both of them have a certain innocence about them, they could both pass as perfect examples of anti-casting as a pair for the said role." "Since the plot is novel, the makers want to keep the highlight points in wraps. He is also in talks with two other critically and commercially acclaimed actors for the remaining two leads. Anees Bazmee was in Rajasthan last week for the recee. They plan to shoot at real locations in London and Rajasthan. But, for the Mumbai schedule, a set will be constructed. During their outdoor schedule which will be three months long starting from January 2020, they will shoot the two songs - 'Hare Ram Hare Ram' and 'Ami Je Tomar'. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani and Krishan Kumar under the banner of T-Series and Cine1 Studios. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film is written by Farhad Samji and Aakash Kaushik. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is scheduled to release on July 31st, 2020.
