Priyanka Chopra reveals how she held her Grammys outfit together avoiding a wardrobe malfunction

Global icon Priyanka Chopra grabbed eyeballs at the recently concluded Grammys, where she made a bold statement with her outfit. The actress went for a Ralph and Russo plunging white gown for the event and was accompanied by husband Nick Jonas who performed at the ceremony along with his brothers.  While several lauded the actress for her attire, there was some criticism as well. 

However, what several people wondered on social media was as to how the actress kept the dress together and avoided a possible wardrobe malfunction. Days after the function in an interview with the US Weekly, the 37-year-old actress revealed how designers Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo made sure that there was no scope for a wardrobe malfunction at the awards. The actress revealed that it was a piece of tulle made of Priyanka's skin tone that held her dress together and wasn't even visible to the camera. She said that it worked as a netting which was not easily seen as it was of the colour of her skin. 

Priyanka Chopra said that the designers always keep wardrobe malfunctions in mind while making an outfit for her. The actress said that she does not take fashion risks unless she is super secure about her look.

Fast & Furious 9 CONFIRMED for Eid 2020; THREE-WAY clash with Radhe and Laxmmi Bomb is ON!

Bollywood Hungama in December had put up an article, informing about the mother of all clashes happening at the box office during Eid 2020. As it happens every year on this festival, a Salman Khan-starrer is already scheduled to release. Titled Radhe - Your Most Wanted Bhai, it co-stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff and is directed by Prabhudheva. While Salman usually comes solo on Eid, this time he’ll be joined by Akshay Kumar as he brings his horror comedy Laxmmi Bomb on May 22, 2020 as well. It also features Kiara Advani and this Raghava Lawrence directorial is the remake of popular Tamil film Muni 2: Kanchana. If you that was enough, then you are mistaken. In February last year, it was revealed that Fast & Furious 9 will also arrive on this day!

A few hours ago, the much-awaited trailer of Fast & Furious 9 was released and has met with an excellent response. The official social media handles of Universal Pictures India too uploaded the trailer and many expected that the release date of India might be changed to avoid clash. However, they have made it clear that the action packed flick will release on May 22 worldwide, including in India!

The initial parts of Fast & Furious weren’t that big in the country, box office-wise. But things began to gradually from the fifth part, which came in 2011. Fast & Furious 7 had taken the biggest opening for a Hollywood film in 2015 then and was the first Hollywood film to cross the coveted Rs. 100 crore mark. The series is extremely popular and its lead actor Vin Diesel is recognized and loved even by non-English speaking audiences.

Fast & Furious 8, which released in 2017, couldn’t cross the Rs. 100 crore mark but still did huge business of Rs. 86.23 crore. Hence, the expectations are immense from the ninth part as well. That it releases on a festival can give it an added boost. However, with two other films clashing on the same day, trade is worried as not just audiences, but even business will get divided. A small section of trade is hopeful that at least one out of these three films will bow down and opt out of the Eid race. But as of now, the three-way-clash on Eid 2020 is very much on!

Sanjay Kapoor and Divya Dutta's short film to discuss domestic violence and marital rape

A month ago it was reported that actors Sanjay Kapoor and Divya Dutta will be coming together for a short film. Now, as per reports, the film helmed by Guneet Monga is tentatively titled Sleeping Partner, will explore the topic of domestic violence and marital rape. 

Talking to a tabloid, Sanjay Kapoor said that he has never played a role like this ever before. He said that it will be shocking for the audience to realise how normal, middle-class guys could behave inside the four walls of their homes. The actor further said that the movie is a subject that has not been strongly established yet. Kapoor hopes that after the film, women who are facing violence and living in close-knit families will have the confidence to speak out. He said that their job will be done if women manage to stand up to abusive husbands. 

Meanwhile, Divya Dutta said that even though she would have fun on the set while shooting, she would often return home feeling disturbed. She would often end up crying as such stories are powerful and real and can affect one's psyche.

Aditya Roy Kapur hopes to release some of his music this year

Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur who is looking forward to his upcoming release Malang admits that acting has taken precedence over his love for music. However, the actors plans to release an album.

Before becoming an actor Aditya Roy Kapur was a VJ for almost four years. The actor has said that he had never taken acting seriously till he bagged his first film and to this day remains passionate about his music. However, the actor has not given a try at playback singing like his counterparts Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor, not has he released any single. 

While talking to a tabloid, Aditya Roy Kapur revealed that he plans on putting out some of his music in the coming year. 

Recently, while promoting his upcoming film, Aditya Roy Kapur took to the stage of Indian Idol 11 and played along with a contestant. The actor said that even before becoming an actor he wanted to explore music. Aditya said that he still plays the guitar and writes songs. He plans on collaborating with musicians and make something. 

Meanwhile, Aditya Roy Kapur will next be seen alongside Disha Patani, Anil Kapoor and Kunal Kemmu in Malang. The film is slated to hit the screens on February 7.

'Tanhaji' v/s 'Jawaani Jaaneman' at BO

Ajay Devgn's 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' that hit the big screen with Deepika Padukone starrer 'Chhapaak' is still going strong at the box office. The film did an impressive collection of Rs 231.65 crore from its three weeks at the box office as per a report on Boxofficeindia.com. According to a report on Boxofficeindia.com, the early estimate suggests that Ajay's film remains steady as it collects 2-2.25 crore nett which will be a 20% drop from Thursday. On the other hand, Saif Ali Khan's 'Jawaani Jaaneman had low collections in the range of approximately 2.5-3 crore nett on its first day.

Himesh Reshammiya to start shooting for Namastey Rome; collaborates with Javed Akhtar after 13 years

After the release of Happy Hardy and Heer on Friday, Himesh Reshammiya is now set to start shooting for his next film titled Namastey Rome.  The film will be directed by Rajesh Sethi and will see Himesh and Javed Akhtar working together after 13 years. 

While Himesh Reshammiya plays the male lead in the film, the rest of the cast is yet to be announced. Talking to a daily, Himesh said that Namastey Rome is a classic love story based on real incidents. He said that Javed Akhtar and himself were impressed by the story and said that the music of the film is also very impressive. The musician says that the album of the film is much better than Namaste London which was the last film that Javed Akhtar and Himes Reshammiya worked on together. Praising Javed Akhtar, Himesh Reshammiya said that every word penned by the lyricist is sheer magic and said that all seven tracks have been composed straight from the heart. 

The shoot of the film will start in summer in UK. The actor is currently prepping for his role. This is the first time that Himesh Reshammiya is working on a film that is based on a real-life incident and fins the subject very relatable. Reshammiya will soon start shooting for the sequel to The Xpose (2014).

Sooryavanshi: A month after wrapping shoot, Rohit Shetty ropes in Jackie Shroff for a new character

In October, we had reported that the team of Sooryavanshi has been adding new characters to the story. Earlier, Rohit Shetty and writer Farhad Samji had added the tracks of Akshay Kumar’ father and mother when they were nearing the completion of the shoot. 

Now, Rohit Shetty's upcoming cop drama Sooryavanshi, which introduces Akshay Kumar to his cop-verse has a new addition to the cast. The filmmaker has roped in Jackie Shroff to play a new character. In November 2019 actor Akshay Kumar had announced the wrap of the film. However, the team went on to shoot with character actors for another month before calling it a wrap. 

Reportedly, Jackie Shroff shot for his scenes in the past week. Jackie's addition came as a surprise to the team who filmed the senior actor's scenes in Ooty. As per reports, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif were not part of the scenes. Jackie Shroff shot with Abhimanyu Singh who plays the antagonist in the film. 

Talking to a tabloid, Jackie Shroff said that he has worked with Rohit Shetty's father and is now proud to have worked with the filmmaker. However, the actor said that he cannot reveal details about his role.

Sooryavanshi is slated to hit the screens in March. The climax of the film will see Ranveer Singh's Simmba and Ajay Devgn's Singham join hands with Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi to take down the goons.

Shah Rukh Khan to back Sanjay Mishra starrer Kaamyaab

Shah Rukh Khan is yet to announce his next film but has been working behind the scenes as a producer. Last year, he produced Badla starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu followed by Netflix series Bard Of Blood featuring Emraan Hashmi. Kickstarting the year with another film, SRK is set to back Sanjay Mishra starrer Kaamyaab.

The film revolves around the story of character actors and their struggles. It will also star Deepak Dobriyal and Sarika Singh. The makers thought Sanjay Mishra was the right fit since his career graph mirrors the storyline of the character. Hardik Mehta will direct the project.

Hardik Mehta, meanwhile, is also directing Roohi Afzana starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor.

Shah Rukh Khan, on the work front, has many projects that he may announce this year. The actor is rumoured to be working with YRF & Siddharth Anand, Rajkumar Hirani, Raj Nidimoru & Krishna DK, and Atlee among others.

Sidharth Malhotra to star in double role in Hindi remake of Tamil murder mystery Thadam

After Marjaavaan and wrapping up Shershaah, Sidharth Malhotra has bagged his next project which is a murder mystery. The yet-untitled film will be produced by Murad Khetani. It is an official Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil murder mystery, Thadam.

This will be the first time Sidharth will star in a double role - a businessman and a small-time thief and gambler who is always looking to make some quick money along with his crony. The actor is currently working on his prep for the film and the makers are prepping to create two distinct looks for him. The film had plenty of moments that attracted Sidharth towards the script in addition to the double role.

Thadam, that released in March last year, is written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Inder Kumar. The film stars Arun Vijay in a double role along with Tanya Hope, Smruthi Venkat, and Vidya Pradeep in the lead roles. The murder of a young man named Akash creates confusion among a few cops when they find out that the one accused has a look-alike. The twists and turns with an unexpected climax really make the film interesting.

Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra will be next starring in Shershaah as Captain Vikram Batra which is releasing on July 3, 2020.

Let’s analyse. <img class="aligncenter wp-image-1069154 size-full" title="Movie Review: Jawaani Jaaneman" src="https://ift.tt/3aUG1fP" alt="Movie Review: Jawaani Jaaneman" width="720" height="450" /> JAWAANI JAANEMAN is the story of a 40-year-old playboy whose life suddenly turns upside down. Jassi aka Jazz (Saif Ali Khan) is in his 40s and is based in London. He's single and in no mood to commit. By profession, he's a real estate broker and works with his brother Dimpu (Kumud Mishra). But he spends most of his time partying and getting involved with girls. He is also about to seal a redevelopment deal that will make him the biggest broker in London. Life is going great for him until one day he meets Tiya (Alaya F). At first he flirts with her, with the ultimate aim to take her to bed. However, she drops the bomb that she might be his daughter! To make matters worse, the DNA test confirms that they are related. And that's not all. It also comes to light that Tiya is pregnant! So Jazz finds out that he's not just someone's father but also to-be grandfather! What happens next forms the rest of the film. JAWAANI JAANEMAN is a remake of an Italian film. The plot is promising and could have made for a hilarious and touching entertainer. The screenplay however is inconsistent and weak at many places. Only some scenes work and provide laughs. Hussain Dalal and Abbas Dalal's dialogues are witty and try their best to enhance the impact. Nitin Kakkar's direction is average. He doesn’t keep the flow of the film organic. Some developments happen suddenly, be it Jazz developing feelings for Rhea (Kubbra Sait) or Jazz asking Tiya to shift in his house. These scenes are still digestible. But a scene in the second half where a local randomly accuses Jazz of cheating him in a property deal comes out of nowhere. Till now, viewers knew Jazz as a lazy worker but not someone who is deceitful. Hence, this revelation seems bizarre. On the positive side, he gets the emotion and humour right in some scenes. Also, he keeps the duration in check (119 minutes). JAWAANI JAANEMAN starts off on an okay note as the viewers get introduced to Jazz and his playboy lifestyle. The film gets interesting once he gets Tiya home and she reveals the truth. It makes for a hilarious watch. Another memorable scene in the first half is when Jazz and Tiya meet Dr. Kriplani (Kiku Sharda). One expects lot more to happen but story just doesn’t move then. The intermission point is a bit awkward. Post interval thankfully there’s some movement in the story. But now the film drags. Also, the impact is weakened by property deal track. What brings some respite is the track of Ananya (Tabu) but even that loses fizz soon. Such kind of a role suits him to the T and he constantly tries to rise above the script. Alaya F makes an excellent debut and puts up a confident act. She looks gorgeous and is the only actor who moves viewers to an extent. She has a promising career ahead. Tabu has a late entry but raises loads of laughs. But her character has no emotional arc. Chunky Panday (Rocky) doesn’t have much to do initially. He has a crucial scene in the second half in the hospital but it doesn’t work. Kubbra Sait is adorable and one wishes to see more of her. Kumud Mishra is dependable. Kiku Sharda is funny. Dante Alexander (Rohan) is over the top, as per the character’s requirement. Rameet Sandhu (Tanvi) leaves a mark. Farida Jalal (Jazz’s mother), Shivendra Singh Mahal (Jazz’s father) and Diljohn Singh (Grover) are okay. Songs are all forgettable. <em>'Ole Ole 2.0'</em> gets registered a bit as it’s a popular tune. <em>'Gallan Kardi'</em>, <em>'Bandhu Tu Mera'</em> and <em>'Mere Baabula'</em> don’t work. <em>‘Jinhe Mera Dil Luteya’</em> is played in the end credits.  Ketan Sodha's background score is sans complaints. Manoj Kumar Khatoi's cinematography is pleasing. The locales of London are well captured. Urvi Ashar Kakkar and Shipra Rawal's production design is superior. Sanam Ratansi's costumes are quite glamorous and all the actors in the film look great. Sachinder Vats's editing (additional editing by Chandan Arora) jumps at places. On the whole, JAWAANI JAANEMAN boasts of fine performances by Saif Ali Khan and newcomer Alaya F. But the direction is weak and emotionally, the film doesn’t work. At the box office, it will be a tough ride for the flick considering the lack of buzz.

Scoop! Song being added for Alia Bhatt in RRR to justify presence

By now we all know that Alia Bhatt whose dream it was to work with S S Rajamouli, has a guest appearance in Rajamouli’s RRR. Agreed, Alia agreed to be part of this mammoth project just to work with Rajamouli. But the director is apparently suffering from guilt pangs about the scope of Alia’s role.

Apparently, Rajamouli feels Alia’s presence is unjustified by the length of her role in RRR. He has therefore decided to add a song for Alia Bhatt. Says a source close to the project, “Alia’s role is extremely decorative in RRR. Considering her superstar status in Bollywood it isn’t fair to have her in RRR just because she wanted to work with Rajamouli. The respect and admiration should be mutual. Alia does author-backed central roles like Raazi and Gangubai Kathiawadi in Hindi. Rajamouli has now added a whole song to Alia’s character.”

While more details of role-enhancing song are awaited, we can tell you that Alia is very excited about doing an elaborate Rajamouli-styled lavish number for RRR, since she has no songs in her other dream-director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi.
